Action Plan

In 2008/09 the groundwater in two monitoring wells still exceeded criteria. A Preliminary Quantitative Risk Assessment (PQRA) was conducted in 2009/10. Contaminated groundwater and soil were monitored and data gaps were identified and sampled for FY 2011/2012. Remedial options were developed in FY 2012/2013. A remedial plan will be developed in 2013/2014. RPS is seeking a legal opinion on whether cleanup is required prior to divestiture of the site. In 2013-2014, RPS AFMS is pursuing divestiture of the site. No work completed in 2014-2015. Property divested in 2015-16.

Site has been reclassified as Class 1 this fiscal year based on additional assessment. Site is near the location of former fuel storage tanks, to the east of the machine shop & PAH-contaminated soils near the rail tracks and coal storage pile
