2019/2020 - Ground water samples were taken for COC as part of the groundwater monitoring program.

2002 Phase 1 ESA identified that in 1980 fuel used to be transferred from facility to AEC 6 fueling facility via underground pipe, fuel spills were recorded in this location in 1987/88 (identified as old USAF bulk plant) and 1993. In the early 1990s the facility stored avgas, gasoline and heating oil. In 1996 the facility transported fuel via fuel trucks, with ASTs from 1950s placed on exposed soil and pumps and distribution lines in poor condition. Suspect former UST removed from Site based on a 2000 YTG permit to North of 60. Other concerns include possible PCBs in a lamp ballast, former fuel transfer piping, pumps and ASTs now removed. As of 2002 Site visit the existing AST is on exposed soil with exposed berm. Limited soil and groundwater testing in 1996 did not identify exceedances of 1996 industrial land use Standards. 2005 Phase II/III ESA (4BH/2 MW) identified compliant soil but VPHw, LEPHw impacts in groundwater from one well. Further monitoring and delineation was recommended. An additional monitoring well was installed east (downgradient) of this exceedance and this area was monitored up to 2018. As of 2018 LEPHw and naphthalene continue to exceed standards in 14-MW05-2 and downgradient 14MW06-15 - further monitoring was recommended in this area.
