Additional Information

Contaminant sources expected to be fuel storage and handling. Four 38,000L USTs present onsite in 1966, all USTS were reported to have been removed ( replaced by 2 avgas ASTs) in 1996. Operated by North of 60 Petro Ltd. In 2002. ESAs conducted at the site from 2001 to 2017. Remediation conducted in 2009 with BST cover placed over backfilled area, plants and woody debris at surface in foreshore and bank area. Post remedial gw monitoring in 2011, 2014 to 2017. 2 mm NAPL identified in MW09-10-12 in 2014, but well not found (presumed destroyed) post 2014. 2017 monitoring and trend analysis in 2018 suggested that groundwater plume is has attenuated with removal of source - recently tested monitoring wells showed compliant groundwater results for petroleum hydrocarbons.
