This pie chart shows the percentage distribution of Statistics Canada’s expenses by program area.

The four program areas and the percentage distribution of expenses are as follows:

• Economic Statistics, 33.2%
• Social Statistics, 30.3%
• Census, Demography and Aboriginal Statistics, 21.2%
• Internal Services, 15.3%.
