Departmental Spending Trends

The Department of Justice Spending Trend bar graph consists of three groups of vertical bars. The groups of vertical bars represent the data from the past three fiscal years; starting from 2007-2008 on the lower left of the graph's x-axis, moving across from left to right; 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010. Each year is comprised of four bars representing the main estimates, the planned, authorized and actual spending for that year in millions of dollars. The graph shows that there has been a steady increase in actual spending. In 2007-208 spending was just over 800 million dollars, in 2008-09, total spending was just under 1 billion dollars and in 2009-10, total spending was just over 1 billion dollars.
