Regular business activities and planning highlights for Program Activity 1.3, Public Health Preparedness and Capacity, are influenced by several risk areas identified in the 2011 Corporate Risk Profile. The risks inherent in Aboriginal and northern health inequalities, infectious disease and public health capacity along with the opportunity to enhance emergency preparedness and response, all contribute to the context in which the Agency pursues the expected result of: public health networks exchange information and best practices for mutual benefit. Realizing this Agency-level outcome contributes to the Government of Canada outcome of Healthy Canadians.
