This is an organizational chart illustrating the relationships between NSERC's governing body (Council), its Executive Committee, the standing committees that advise the Council on policy matters, the Audit committee and the peer review committees that make funding recommendations.
This graph represents the spending trend for NSERC in millions of dollars. The first two figures of $1,013 for 2007-08 and $1,030 for 2008-09 are actual expenditures, as reflected in the Public Accounts. The next figure of $1,053 for 2009-10 represents forecast spending, including all Parliamentary appropriations: Main Estimates, Supplementary Estimates and carry-forward adjustment. The last three figures of $1,051 in 2010-11, $1,036 in 2011-12 and $1,011 in 2012-13 represent planned spending, including the 2010‑11 Annual Reference Level Update plus the anticipated funding being requested via the supplementary estimates.
