This figure is a process flow diagram comprising activities, connectors, inputs/outputs, and decisions.
The diagram depicts the Level 3 process flow for Manage Commitment (Subprocess 3.2.5), which is launched by either Verify Unencumbered Balance (Subprocess 3.2.4) or Manage Travel Administration (Subprocess 3.2.6) or Manage Travel Claims and Advance Requests (Subprocess 3.2.7). All the subprocesses trigger Activity 3.2.5.1 – Record/Update Commitment, which results in the output of a commitment record. Next is the decision titled “Close out commitment?” The “Yes” flow for this decision advances to Activity 3.2.5.2 – Close Out Commitment and then continues with the “No” flow to revisit one of following, where it ends:

  • Manage Travel Requests (Subprocess 3.2.3); or
  • Manage Travel Claims and Advance Requests (Subprocess 3.2.7).
