This figure is a process flow diagram comprising activities, connectors, inputs/outputs, and decisions.
The diagram depicts the Level 3 process flow for Manage Blanket Travel Authority (Subprocess 3.2.2), which starts with a connector from Manage Travel Plans (Subprocess 3.2.1). The flow continues with the following three sequential activities:

  • Activity 3.2.2.1 – Complete Blanket Travel Authority Form;
  • Activity 3.2.2.2 – Determine Appropriate Authority; and
  • Activity 3.2.2.3 – Exercise Authority.

The flow then continues to the decision titled “Approved?” The “No” flow for this decision goes to Manage Travel Requests (Subprocess 3.2.3). The “Yes” flow advances to the following two connectors:

  • Verify Unencumbered Balance (Subprocess 3.2.4); and
  • Manage Commitment (Subprocess 3.2.5).

Completion of both subprocesses results in the output of a blanket travel authority. Manage Blanket Travel Authority ends with a connector to Manage Travel Requests (Subprocess 3.2.3).
