The Canadian Air Traffic Control Association, Canadian Auto Workers (CATCA, CAW) Local 5454 has advised us of changes to membership dues effective .
There will be no membership dues deducted for members for the month of , to provide a dues holiday.
These adjustments will have to be made manually within departments, since there are fewer than 10 represented members in this group. Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) will be sending out a broadcast message with details on how to process these changes which need to be completed by .
Please ensure that members in the bargaining unit are advised.
Departmental Compensation and Labour Relations managers should direct any questions to their appropriate corporate officials who, if need be, can contact the Compensation Administration Section.
Any employee inquiries regarding these membership dues changes are to be directed to CATCA CAW Local 5454.
