The most frequent exceedances o f the quality criteria recorded at the sites are chlorides, SS and some metals (As, Cd, Cr, Pb, Cu, Fe and Zn) in groundwater and / or meltwater. Because it is an operational site with a recurring source of contamination, the environmental impact management mea sures related to the site and the associated follow-ups are carried out under the operation and maintenance program of the Montreal Garrison. As a result, no additional management activities are planned as part of the 10 steps of the Federal Approach to Contaminat ed Sites. If the site conditions change or the intended use is changed, the site should be re-evaluated to determine if additional c ontamination management work is required for the AFLC. (CDCI, March 2018)
