Action Plan

A phase I environmental site assessment was prepared for PWGSC by MGI Limited (Dartmouth N.S.) in March 1999. It was concluded that this site has no evidence of significant environmental damage or liability resulting from current or past activities on the site. A "low risk" ranking was applied to this site in consideration that residual hydrocarbons may exist due to former and / or present above ground furnace oil tank and storage of petroleum products in the storage building. There is potential concern from the use of lead based paint on the small storage building and concrete retaining walls. There is suspected lead containing solder and asbestos containing ceiling tiles in the small storage building located on this property.
