Important Notice on Pay Equity and Employment Insurance

If in the last three years you established a claim and BOTH the following conditions are met:

• You are not currently working for the federal government and

• Your EI benefit rate was lower than $413.00

you may be entitled to a recalculation of your EI rate.

If both of the above conditions apply, you should contact your local Human Resources Development Canada office as soon as possible. Make sure you have your pay equity cheque stub available.
