Description of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Diagram

This figure is a circular diagram with four rings. The inner ring represents SSHRC’s three new programs: Talent, Insight and Connection. Within the inner circle, there are brief descriptions of each program. Under Talent is listed attraction, retention and development; under Insight is listed new knowledge and understanding; and under Connection is listed flow and exchange of knowledge. The middle ring outlines SSHRC’s three broad outcome areas—namely, developing talent, building knowledge and understanding, and mobilizing knowledge. The outer ring represents SSHRC’s commitment to implementing the Government of Canada’s three science and technology strategy advantages, listing them as follows: entrepreneurial advantage,  knowledge advantage and people advantage.
