This graph represents the spending trend for NSERC in millions of dollars. The first two figures of $1,030 for 2008-09 and $1,053 for 2009-10 are actual expenditures, as reflected in the Public Accounts. The next figure of $1,078 for 2010-11 represents forecast spending, including all Parliamentary appropriations: Main Estimates, Supplementary Estimates and carry-forward adjustment. The last three figures of $1,067 in 2011-12, $1,024 in 2012-13 and $1,010 in 2013-14 represent planned spending, including the 2011-12 Annual Reference Level Update plus the anticipated funding being requested via the supplementary estimates.
