This organizational chart shows the collaborative nature of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The Indian Residential School Survivor Committee is the Commission's advisory body. The work of the Commission is overseen by the Chair and Deputy Head, who works with two Commissioners. The Executive Director reports to all of them. Eight directors report to the Executive Director: Director of Statement Gathering and National Research Centre; the Strategic Planning, Communications and Community Liaison; the Director of Events Planning and Artistic Programming; the Director of Research, Historical Record and Report Preparation; the Director of Inuit and Northern Sub-Commission; and the Director of Corporate Services (a function that is a Program Activity described as Internal Services within the government).
