IM Community Recognition Award: Nominations Due February 26, 2010

The annual IM Community Recognition Award was established by the Information Management (IM) Champions Committee in 2004 to acknowledge and honour excellence in shareable IM practices and leadership, and to uncover, recognize and share these exemplary practices.

The accomplishments of the IM community in enabling the management of information within the federal government are critical in supporting the broader Government of Canada agenda.

By formally acknowledging significant accomplishments, the IM Community Recognition Award:

  • Recognizes a cohesive community that comprises a variety of related disciplines;
  • Encourages collaboration on joint initiatives and the creation of work and tools that can be shared and reused;
  • Acknowledges innovation and leadership in IM; and
  • Reinforces community support and motivation.
