To apply online

Developmental programs

Go to jobs-emplois.gc.ca and click on “Job opportunities for graduates”. You’ll find FORD/IARD and CAST under “Post-Secondary Recruitment (PSR)”. Openings for these programs are usually advertised in the fall. Check the FORD/IARD and CAST sites for application deadlines.

Other job opportunities

Go to jobs-emplois.gc.ca. Click on “Job postings” to find other openings for financial managers and internal auditors. Look for information on staffing processes that are currently underway.

What to expect

If you meet the educational and other requirements, we’ll invite you for an interview.

If the interview goes well, we’ll accept you into one of the development programs or into a functional community pool. When a department has a job opening, we’ll refer your application to the hiring department.

If the department likes your application, it will call you for an interview. Departments do their own hiring.

All job notices and recruitment programs include information about the experience, languages, and education you’ll need. Be sure that your résumé clearly shows how you meet these requirements.
