Information and Privacy Policy

The Chief Information Officer Branch (CIOB) supports the President of the Treasury Board, as designated Minister under the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act.

CIOB also provides strategic advice and assistance to government institutions and to Treasury Board Secretariat policy centres on policies and other policy instruments concerning access to information and privacy, as well as the proactive disclosure initiatives.
