A guide to self-assessment against best practices in performance
management
The Gold Standard is based on the Performance Management
Program (PMP) for executives and can be used to assess both management achievement and
the overall health of an organization. The Gold Standard is organized according to the
eight key phases in the PMP.
- Achieving Gold means
an organization has a score of 81% or higher. In organizations
that achieve the Gold Standard, executives have a clear idea of
what is expected of them and their goals are aligned with set
priorities.
- The comprehensive guide to self-assessment using the Gold
Standard,
available on request, includes smart practices, tools and guides to support
excellence.
- The Gold Standard checklist is an easy-to-use spreadsheet. It can also
be used to compile information for reporting (PMP
scorecards) and developing priorities for further improvement. The tool's
point system allows organizations to compare their performance against the Gold
Standard, or best practice.
