Trends in Number of Files (by File Type)

This bar chart shows the trends over the past three years in the number of files for each of the three file types. The x axis includes the file types: legislative, advisory and litigation. The y-axis shows the number of files (in thousands), ranging from 0 to 50.

There are three groups of bars; one for each file type. Each of these groups has three bars representing the number of files each year from 2008-09 to 2010-11.

The number of legislative files was 3,161 in 2008-09, 2,826 in 2009-10, and increased to 3,717 in 2010-11.

Advisory files increased steadily over the past three years from 32,638 to 34,771 in 2009-10, to 38,228 in 2010-11.

The number of litigation files also increased steadily from 38,371 in 2008-09 to 41,317 in 2009-10 and again to 45,415 in 2010-11.
