Departmental spending trend

The Agency's spending trends are presented in four categories: (i) Main estimates; (ii) Planned spending; (iii) Total authorities; and (iv) Actual expenditures, for the periods from 2008-2009 to 2010-2011. For 2009-2010, Canada's Economic Action Plan (CEAP) is added to Total authorities and Actual expenditures. For 2010-2011, Main Estimates, Planned spending, Total authorities and Actual expenditures all include a portion for CEAP.

The breakdown in millions of dollars for 2008-2009 is: (i) 287; (ii) 293; (iii) 302; and (iv) 299.

The breakdown in millions of dollars for 2009-2010 is: (i) 287; (ii) 305; (iii) 445 (including 132 for CEAP); and (iv) 398 (including 113 for CEAP).

The breakdown in millions of dollars for 2010-2011 is: (i) 429 (including 157 for CEAP); (ii) 463 (including 192 for CEAP); (iii) 537 (including 231 for CEAP); and (iv) 480 (including 202 for CEAP).
