- What training is required for all Government of Canada employees
and should such training be mandatory?
- Training
for ATIP functional specialists
- What
training is required for ATIP functional specialists, that is what do they need
to know to contribute to the management of the ATIP function in the Government
of Canada? Should this training be mandatory for all ATIP employees, both those
employees new to the field and those who have been in their positions for an
extended period of time? How would you define "new to the field"?
- Electronic
records pose a significant and particular challenge when responding to ATIP
requests. What kind of training needs to be developed for ATIP employees to
better equip them to meet this challenge?
- Many
institutions have substantial regional operations. Is a modified training
program to meet their training needs required? Would such a modified training
program be delivered to all specialists in the institution or only those
outside the National Capital Region? What additional issues would need to be
addressed?
- What
training is required for ATIP coordinators? Should this training be mandatory
for all ATIP coordinators, both those who are newly promoted and those who have
been in their positions for an extended period of time?
- What
informal learning would be most beneficial, i.e. secondments, formal
developmental program, case studies, etc.
- What
delivery methodologies would be most suitable to meet ATIP community learning
requirements? To what extent could technology play a role?
