Subject: Training Calendar – Spring 2009
The Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) training calendar for the Spring 2009 season is now available.
We are pleased to introduce a new training session titled "How to Create or Revise a Personal Information Bank (PIB)".This training session explains Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) requirements regarding the creation and/or revision of Personal Information Banks. The training also examines the procedures for submitting new or revised PIBs to TBS using the new electronic PIB tool.
We encourage you to share this information with all ATIP practitioners within your institution, both at headquarters and in the regions if necessary.
Registration:
To register for a training session, you must complete the online ATIP Training Registration Form. The registration information will be automatically sent to our email address. It is also possible to register by printing the registration form and returning the completed form by facsimile at 613-957‑8020.
Seats for each session are limited and registrations are treated on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, we suggest that you register as soon as possible.
We encourage you to view our complete ATIP Training Registration Procedures prior to registration.
Cost:
All training sessions are offered free of charge. However, participants who register are required to adhere to the cancellation policy.
