Public Service Award of Excellence

The Public Service Award of Excellence (PSAE) recognizes employees who have demonstrated excellence in the achievement of results for Canadians and reflect the priorities of the Public Service of Canada, while demonstrating Key Leadership Competencies. The Award is open to individuals and teams at all levels (other than deputy minister level).

Up to 35 awards are presented to recipients from across Canada and abroad. The award is non-monetary and consists of an inscribed trophy. Recipients are invited to participate in the awards ceremony, which is held during National Public Service Week every year.

There are eleven categories for the Public Service Award of Excellence:
